Questions
to Ponder—
- When are times you have felt worn
out and what did you do to overcome it?
- Is there a difference for you
between being physically tired and emotionally tired? Does one wear you
out more than the other?
- Can you feel a difference between
physical rest and spiritual rest?

About Rest—
Hi Lara... I never who I was until He touched me through His amazing love. I think there is a difference in the being phys. And emotionally tired. The latter drives me to worry too much. Have a great week...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I agree, being emotionally tired leads to worry, and I also think anxiety.
DeleteHope you have a great week also!
Just this week, I was feeling exhausted! I was doing too much and had to take a break. I've been spending way too much time online lately and so had a rest from the computer for a few evenings (and most of today)! This has made a difference.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah - emotional tiredness is more draining and we tend to be overcome with all sorts of 'feelings' when emotionally tired which we cannot trust.
For me, Physical rest rejuvenates the body; whereas spiritual rest is resting in the Lord and His Word. Yes, there is a difference in that God's peace engulfs the heart which is spiritually resting in the Lord alone.
P.S. Will email you tomorrow - hopefully, it will be good for go! ;D
I'm always glad to read your comments Wendy. :) I totally agree with you both. Being emotionally tired completely drains me, more so than being physically tired. When I'm emotionally tired I'm also physically tired, and all I want to do is sleep.
DeleteGood for you for taking a break from the computer. I have spent a little less time online this past week as well. The online world can quickly eat up too much time if we don't keep track of it and cut back when necessary.
Blessings to you,
Laura
