Jesus
spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t
have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
Jesus calls us to
follow Him—to travel with Him…
…down the less-traveled path.
…out onto the water’s surface.
…to quiet places where we can rest.
…to places we don’t know to dream about.
…to exciting, but unknown, places we’re afraid to go alone.
…to see life through new eyes and with a fresh perspective.
…to fully experience each day.
We are called to
follow Jesus and travel with Him as a child of God.
How would our days
look different if we traveled with Jesus in His light? {Tweet this}

Hi Laura, short and sweet and very necessary to hear. Yes, how would our day to day lives look if we travelled in every circumstance with Jesus?! Sorry I haven't visited here for a while. But I am so glad that I did today.

Me too. Thanks Tracy!
DeleteThe phrase "in His light" spoke to me this morning because by His light I will see everything differently. And then the task for me will be to believe my eyes of faith.
ReplyDeleteYes, His Light makes everything look different...and then to believe in His Light, and not our doubt. Thanks Michele!
DeleteI know everything looks different when looked at through the Light of Christ. Thanks for this sweet reminder today, Laura!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading June & for sharing on Twitter!
DeleteExcellent reminder. It's not easy to walk the road less travelled but it helps to remember that Jesus is iffy there walking with us.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Thank for blessing us with your words.
ReplyDeleteHello, Laura! I love this post, I can definitely relate to following Jesus to the special places that He calls me to. He always provides what I need in every moment, too. Thank you for linking up with Writer Wednesday!
