I pray that God, the source of hope,
will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you
will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Through Jesus, we are called to Hope…
…not because of
who we are, but Whose we are.
…not because of
what we can do, but what God can do.
…not because of
what we can see, but because of all that
He sees.
…not because of
how we try to love, but because of God’s
ultimate love.
…not because of
what we think we know, but because of God’s
unlimited knowledge.
…not because of
trust in ourselves, but because of our
trust in Him.
We are called to find our Hope in Him…not to look for it in the world and in
those around us. {Tweet this}
What would our days look like if we
truly overflowed with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit?
In Christ,
Laura

Thank you for this reminder of where our hope comes from!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, Laura! It's all about Him!
ReplyDeleteI love what you said: "We are called to find our Hope in Him…not to look for it in the world and in those around us." We are so prone to do just that, instead of looking to Him ...
Thanks, Laura, for the reminder that our hope begins, lives through, and ends in Him, in the grace He shares abundantly with His children.
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
ReplyDeleteAmen, amen! Thank you for this to the point reminder and exhortation, Laura!
ReplyDeleteThe simple reminder that Romans 15 give us... Hope is a calling we are supposed to be comfortable to step into. I love this, Laura. Thank you for the powerful dose of inspiration.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

Amen, Laura! There is nothing in or of this world that can fulfill that hope in our souls for more than a moment. Our only true hope is in Christ! Thanks so much for sharing this at #MomentsofHope!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and smiles,
