  1. My entire life I have been afraid of people leaving me. It started with my dad when I was very little, and it has continued to be my biggest fear up to today. God has allowed some deeply painful experiences in my life as a way to show me something Sheila Walsh writes at the end of this chapter. She says, "Jesus says to all of us, no matter what we're facing right now: I am enough. I am enough. I am more than enough." It almost makes me cry to type it. I know those words to be true, but my heart struggles to feel that truth.

    1. Hi Penny,
This is a lesson I am learning as well...Jesus is all I need. He is enough. I know it to be true, but my emotions are still very human and can send me over the edge. On days I can't feel Him near, I KNOW He has not left me. The knowing gets me through the days I can't feel Him. And the days I feel Him reinforce the fact that I know He doesn't leave me.

So glad to be studying with you! Thanks for your comment!
      In Christ,
      Laura

  2. Wow...love Gods timing with this study...no matter what it is that we are going through He is more than enough! I would certainly not have been able to head off with no provisions...I can't even go away for a night without packing a large bag! Fully trusting God to provide everything we could possibly need is not easy...especially when you are running a household and you like to have everything organized and planned out well in advance. My daily prayer is that I will let go and trust that God is more than enough...because He is all that and more!!

    1. Learning (and remembering) to trust and completely depend on God is a lifelong process, I think. I'm so thankful He's a patient God!
      Thank Lynda! God bless!
